Learning and Teaching Unit Quality Assurance Metrics
The Learning and Teaching Unit Quality Assurance Metrics (2024) have been developed in response to formalising unit level quality assurance tools, monitoring and reporting across the university towards best practice. Unit level quality assurance is a targeted mechanism to ensure unit quality aspects positively impact the student experience. The focus attention on learning and teaching facets such as assessment design and judgement, unit organisation, learning resources, feedback mechanisms, student support and creation of sustainable effective learning environment, can all impact the delivery method and student overall experience. The Learning and Teaching Unit Quality Assurance Metrics (2024) highlight how key university-wide tools need to be utilised as part of continuous quality assurance and line with the Higher Education Standards Framework (2021).
