VC's Awards for Excellence

Purpose

The Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Excellence (VCAE) were established in 2002 and are awarded annually

The purpose of the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence is to recognise and reward exceptional performance that supports the Federation University Australia Strategic Plan 2021–2025 including the Stretch Reconciliation Plan 2019–2022 (pdf, 1.4MB).

Other Vice-Chancellor's Awards

The Vice-Chancellor also recognises teaching excellence and outstanding contributions to student learning and student services by annually awarding the:

• Vice-Chancellor's Award for Teaching Excellence (one award);
• Vice-Chancellor's Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning (up to 10 citations); and
• Vice-Chancellor's Citations for Student Services (up to three citations).

These awards are co-ordinated by the Centre for Academic Development (CAD).
