Your growth matters

Your growth matters is Federation’s new Workday-based performance review process. It replaces the former PRDP process in PageUp.

Staff surveys, including 'Your voice matters', have identified career planning, professional development, and recognition as priorities for our workforce.

Created to be much more than a performance review process, Your growth matters is also a way we can work together to achieve individual aspirations, enhance our skills, and contribute meaningfully to our organisation.

How does it work?

Your growth matters consists of a simple 3-step process, which takes place throughout the year, and includes:

Step 1:  Goal setting

Setting your objectives and development plan at the start of the year, aligned with your role and Federation's strategy.

Step 2:  Check in

Having regular check-ins with your manager to review your progress, celebrate your achievements, and identify any support you need.

Step 3:  Reflect

Reflect on your performance, learning, and growth, and to recognise your contributions to Federation.

When can I start?

Your growth matters begins with the goal setting phase which commences Monday, 5 February 2024.

How can I prepare?

  • Keep an eye out on FedNews and Fed Engage for information on upcoming training sessions. Choose a session that is convenient and enrol.
  • Start thinking about your goals and development needs for the coming year.
  • Book a time with your manager/supervisor to review your goals between 19 February and 3 March 2024.
