Your growth matters

Your growth matters is Federation’s Workday-based performance review process. It replaces the former PRDP process in PageUp.

Staff surveys, including 'Your voice matters', have identified career planning, professional development, and recognition as priorities for our workforce.

Created to be much more than a performance review process, Your growth matters (YGM) is also a way we can work together to achieve individual aspirations, enhance our skills, and contribute meaningfully to our organisation.


How does it work?

Your growth matters consists of a simple 3-step process, which takes place throughout the year, and includes:

Step 1:  Goal setting

Setting your objectives and development plan at the start of the year, aligned with your role and Federation's strategy.

Step 2:  Check in

Having regular check-ins with your manager to review your progress, celebrate your achievements, and identify any support you need.

Step 3:  Reflect

Reflect on your performance, learning, and growth, and to recognise your contributions to Federation.

Reflect stage - End of year reviews

It’s time to reflect on the year that was 2024.

The end of year review, i.e. the ‘Reflect’ phase, provides an opportunity to highlight your achievements and contributions in 2024, identify areas for improvement and growth, and can help to build a stronger working relationship with your peers and supervisor.

How does it work?

The Reflect phase is a three-step process:

When can I start?

On Monday, 21 October 2024, Your growth matters will automatically roll over into the Reflect phase.

You will be prompted in Workday to complete your self-evaluation. You will still be able to update your goals and development items, however these will be ‘locked in’ once you submit your self-evaluation to your supervisor.
