WGEA reporting
The Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) is an Australian Government statutory agency, established under the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012. Under the Act, Federation University has an obligation to improve and promote equality for women and men in the workplace.
The University is required to report to WGEA annually against a set of six gender equality indicators. The mandatory reporting requires relevant employers to make annual submissions of employee data, workforce management statistics and reporting questionnaires. The reporting period refers to the 12 months from 1 April to 31 March annually.
Our public reports
Federation University lodged its annual public report with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency in May 2024 and was assessed as compliant with the Workplace Gender Equality Act 2012.
