Biography
Kate is an early-career academic with a background teaching in a diverse range of secondary schools across Victoria. Kate is a lecturer, BOLD Learning and Teaching in the Centre for Teaching Innovation and Quality at Federation University Australia. In her role, Kate coordinates on courses as part of the Graduate Certificate in Education (Tertiary Teaching) and other non-award short courses and learning and teaching workshops. Her interest and research areas include the development and improvement of professional development programs to lecturing staff and digital learning and teaching approaches.
Kate has a background in secondary teaching (visual art and careers) and holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts, Diploma of Teaching, Master of Teaching and a Graduate Certificate of Education.
