CEL Policy and Procedures

Co-operative Experiential Learning (CEL) is governed by the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Placement Policy (Policy Code LT1711).

The two procedures which accompany the Work Based Training and Practical Placement Requirements Policy are specifically targeted to the higher education and TAFE/VET sectors of the university;

Staff

All current and new programs and/or courses with a CEL component must follow the procedures set out in the above Policy and Procedures documents.

Uni-wide processes include: Agreements with students and external organisations, pre-placement requirements, occupational, health and safety processes.

Students

Students must complete all pre-placement requirements which may include any or all of the following: Student agreement, medical form, police checks (organised through placement staff), Working With Children Check (WWCC).
