Rise Crew
Volunteer their time to help our students during Orientation, OFest/FedFest and other events. They help, direct, communicate, get involved and make sure to bring students with them into university life. We encourage our volunteers to involve themselves in as many activities as they would like with a focus during orientation week.
When
- Orientation Friday 23rd February - Friday 1 March 2024
- OFest/FedFest held during March 2024 over the first weeks of semester.
- Other events throughout the academic year
Why
Meet new friends, add to your resume, help create community and join the team that create fun on campus. You will meet countless new students, and help them meet each other, so that they discover what a great place uni is when your friends go there!
As a valued Volunteer You will be eligible to move towards a Federation Award and receive our Rise Crew merchandise pack!
What’s involved.
There will be a 3 hour on campus volunteer training session from 11am to 2pm at Berwick, Churchill and Mount Helen between Monday 29th January to Thursday 1st Feb 2024 TBA
Volunteers activities
- Set up information stalls and displays
- Help with games and activities
- Welcome new students
- Keep students informed
- Hand out merchandise and food
- Help students register for sport, competitions, and events.
