Do I need to be enrolled to access FedUni systems?
System access rules
Access to the University’s systems, in general, is determined by your enrolment status. There are also higher level rules which will restrict your access to FedUni systems after extended periods of non-activity).
The following table summarises the periods of time for which students retain access to FedUni systems based on their enrolment status.

Active in course | Enrolled in a unit in the current or future teaching periods | 2 years after the date of the last enrolment activity (e.g. adding or dropping of classes) |
Withdrawn from course | Officially withdrawn from your course of study (i.e. a Change of Enrolment Status form completed and submitted to Student HQ) | 30 days after the date on which you formally withdraw from your course of study |
Completed | Successful completion of all units in your course of study and you are eligible to graduate / have already graduated | One year after you are identified as having completed the requirements of your course |
Discontinued | Have not enrolled in classes for at least the past 18 months without being on approved leave or withdrawing from your course of studies | 30 days after the date on which your course discontinuation is recorded in the student management system (mySC) |
Excluded | Excluded from your course of studies for a nominated period of time | 30 days after the date on which your course exclusion is recorded in the student management system (mySC) |
Leave of Absence | Leave from studies after commencement | 2 years after the date of the last enrolment activity |
Suspended | Suspended from your course of studies for a nominated period of time | 2 years after the date on which your course suspension is recorded in the student management system (mySC) |
How do I access my information if I no longer have access to FedUni systems?
As a FedUni student you retain the right to access information relating to your time with us (e.g. transcripts, copies of invoices etc). If your access to mySC has been removed as the result of a period of inactivity please contact Student HQ on 1800 FEDUNI (1800 333 864) and staff will assist you in obtaining the information you are seeking.
