IT help

Information Technology Services (ITS) can help you with your IT needs.

Log in to FedUni's systems

To access our online systems you will need a log in (student ID) and password. Your password for your first log-in is the first initial of your first name, a full stop, and your full date of birth.

Example: John Smith, born 14 August 1980. Password: j.14081980

Before accessing any FedUni systems you will need to change your first password to your own personalised password. This can be done via the Password self-service page.

Connect to FedUni Wi-Fi (eduroam)

Wi-Fi is accessible for all staff and students in all student and public areas such as lecture theatres, classrooms, tutorial rooms and cafes. Instructions for setting up your device(s) to connect with our Wi-Fi can be found on our Wireless (Wi-Fi) access help page.

Access your Office365 and email account

As a new student you will be provided with an Office365 account. This account gives you online access to your email and the familiar Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) and enables you to work on your documents online, anytime, anywhere. This account also provides you with the option of downloading these programs to your own personal desktop or laptop for free and provides you with 1TB of storage space online.

You can log in to Office365 and access your email via our Access my student email help page.

Peruse our Special Offers information to download and set up your Office365 account.

Print or photocopy

We use a system called Follow Me Print for all of our printing and photocopying. You'll need to use a credit card to apply credits to your student card by logging in to the Follow Me Print website.

Once you have credit on your student card, you can log on to any FedUni computer on campus and send your document to the 'Student queue' printer. When you are ready to collect your printout, go to any FedUni printer and hold your card against the printer reader to open your account. Select 'Print Anywhere', select your document and press Start.

General printing costs can be found on the Photocopying and printing web page.
