Unisport Nationals

This is a week-long, multi-sport event. Get involved in this annual event that brings together athletes from 42 universities to compete in over 30 sports. 

Express your interest

UniSport Nationals is the flagship event for university sport in Australia. Each year, over 5,000 students from 42 Australian universities compete in over 30 different sports, to determine which university will be the National Champion.

This year, Unisport Nationals will be held in Perth, Western Australia, from September 26 to October 3, 2026.

Key dates:

  • Team nominations open 2 March
  • Team nominations close 31 May   
  • Registrations open 5 May
  • Standard registrations close 9 August
  • Withdrawal and minimum numbers deadline 10 August
  • All registrations close 20 September
  • Eligibility checks deadline 22 September
