"I was lucky to obtain a tertiary education when funding was more liberal. It provided me with the foundation I needed to build a successful career both in Australia and abroad.
For me, as an Alum, being able to contribute to the scholarship program is not only a chance to 'give back', but to give a student an opportunity to achieve, an opportunity they might not otherwise have had.
I recently met scholarship recipients and listened to their stories. Stories of success, stories of perseverance, stories of dedication, many against a backdrop of adversity.
I invite you to join me in enabling students to reach their potential."
Shane Armstrong
Shane served as the President of International and Executive Vice President at Scholastic Corporation from June 2010 until May 2016 and is currently Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian International School in Singapore. Shane has a Diploma of Education (Primary) degree from Ballarat College of Advanced Education and holds graduate degrees in education and business administration.
