Definition of Alumni

At Federation University, alumni membership is free to any one or combination of the following:

• Graduates of Federation University or an antecedent institution (i.e. students who have completed a course for which a sealed award is/was given, including Certificate I through to postgraduate qualifications);
• Past students of Federation University or an antecedent institution who have completed a non-award short program;
• Individuals who have successfully completed a subject, unit or module of any Federation University course (including current students);
• Current Federation University staff members;
• Former staff members of Federation University or an antecedent institution; and
• Friends of the University (eg current and past Council members, honorary doctorates etc)

Alumna a female graduate or former student

Alum an individual male or female graduate or former student
