Honours programs on offer in Wimmera

Prospective students with an interest in the humanities, history and social sciences will have the opportunity to study at Federation University Australia’s Wimmera campus in 2023 with the launch of a Wimmera-focussed honours program.

A local. research-based honours study program is on offer, along with scholarships of up to $15,000 to support students to build on their undergraduate degree and boost the development of rural research for the Wimmera Southern Mallee.

Students will have the opportunity to work with local employers in the Wimmera on projects that build knowledge about regional development, tourism, social welfare, local business development and other key industries.

The program offers flexibility around employment and pathways to future research study and work in the region.
