English as a second language
A range of support is available to help you brush up on your English throughout your time at FedUni.
English and Academic Preparation program (EAP)
EAP is an accredited pathway program for non-English speaking background international students who intend undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate studies at FedUni. EAP aims to enhance and develop students' English language skills. The Program will help you to successfully complete academic study in English-speaking learning environments.
EAP is suitable for students who do not meet the minimum English language entry requirements for FedUni degree programs. Learn more about the English and Academic Preparation program and its non-award program for non-English speaking international students.
English Language Support Service (ELSS)
ELSS is available for all commencing international students and offers weekly classes and online resources to help you understand the academic expectations and assessment requirements of your course. Classes help you understand your assignments, and cover the study skills you need to be successful in your assignment, and help you understand academic culture in Australia. We advise all new students whose first language is not English to make use of this service.
