Require evidence of being a part of the AIME program.
The Albert Coates Memorial Scholarships are available for students who have successfully completed their first year of an undergraduate nursing, visual arts or biomedical science degree at Federation University and enrolled in the second year. Three scholarships are available to the value of $3,000 each.
Available for a Higher Education domestic Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student undertaking studies in undergraduate (including honours) or postgraduate studies at the Mt Helen campus.
Available for Higher Education students undertaking undergraduate engineering studies at the Gippsland campus, who reside in the Gippsland region. Strong preference to the electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Available for two Higher Education students undertaking Civil Engineering, Business, I.T. or Science at the Gippsland campus, with a preference being for a student undertaking studies in Civil Engineering. Applicants must live within the Baw Baw Shire.
Higher education domestic students enrolled in an undergraduate (including honours) studying in environmental pursuits (Bachelor of Environmental and Conservation Science or Bachelor of Science with a major in ecology and environmental restoration) in the first year of their program at the Mt Helen Campus.

This scholarship is open to students who are undertaking engineering (preferred) with a focus on civil, chemical, mechanical and environmental engineering at the Gippsland Campus in their first, second or third year of their degree. Undergraduate students will also be considered from a background in accounting, human resources and information technology. Preference will be given to students who reside in the East Gippsland region, but is open to other Gippsland-based students who will commit to being directly involved with East Gippsland Water.
Higher Education domestic continuing student in the final year of Bachelor of Environmental and Conservation Science, to the value of $6,000.
Available for elite athlete undertaking studies in undergraduate (including honours) within the field of Engineering, Sports of Health eg Bachelor of Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Mining), Bachelor of Exercise and Sport science, Bachelor of International Sport Management, Bachelor of sport, Physical and Outdoor Education or Bachelor of Health Sciences.. Available for students who identify as woman / female who are undertaking an engineering (preferred) or science degree at the Gippsland campus annually for the first three years of their studies, and indigenous students who are undertaking studies in Business, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or Information Technology at the Gippsland campus annually for the first three years of their studies. Applicants must reside in and have attended secondary school in the Gippsland region.
Available to students who are undertaking study across Higher Education which have a direct relationship to workforce demands in the renewable energy sector. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a committment to study and willingness to develop a career within the renewable energy industry. Applicants must be able to demonstrate reasonable previous acadeic achievement that would enable them to successfully complete the course the scholarship is offered to.
Higher education domestic, migrant or refugee student who identifies as woman / female in the first year of their program undertaking studies in Science, Mathematics or Physics at the Federation University Mt Helen campus to the value of $1,000.
Available for Chinese national students undertaking studies at the Ballarat or Mt Helen campus. Preference for Chinese descendants from the Ballarat or Bendigo region.
Available for Higher Education students undertaking accounting studies at the Gippsland campus, who reside in the Gippsland region. This scholarship is to the value of $3,500 annually over the duration of the course (3 years).

Higher education or TAFE domestic students undertaking an undergraduate degree at the Federation University Mt Helen campus to the value of $1,000. These scholarships are for students that are disadvantaged or financially struggling.
Domestic, CALD, migrant, refugee student transitioning, or who have transitioned from TAFE Gippsland to the Federation University Gippsland Campus to undertake Bachelor degree studies in Nursing, Early Childhood Education, Community and Human Services, Business, accounting or Environmental and Conservation Science to the value of $1,000.
Available for a Higher Education commencing or continuing student at the Gippsland campus undertaking studies in Environmental Science.
Students who are trade qualified in engineering, electrical or mechanical trade wishing to enter the wind energy generation industry, who demonstrate a clear enthusiasm and desire to enter or further their involvement in the industry and are enrolled in the Global Wind Organisation Standard course at a Federation University campus. Current employees working in the wind generation industry who wish to undertake the training in order to provide them with a pathway toward becoming a wind turbine technician will also be eligible for the scholarships.
Available to a Higher Education domestic student undertaking undergraduate or postgraduate studies in a STEM subject (science, technology, engineering or mathematics) at the Mt Helen Campus, commencing the third year of their program in Semester 1, 2024 and enrolled full time (100 credits) in Semester 1, 2024.. Not be in receipt of any other industry sponsored scholarship.
Higher education or TAFE international student undertaking studies at a Ballarat campus.
