Secure your place in a combined TAFE and higher education program at Federation University

If you do, the new combined TAFE diploma and higher education bachelor programs may be for you.

Programs available through our combined pathway are listed below and will be listed in VTAC.

How to apply

  1. List the program in your VTAC preference list, which will be available in VTAC late July.
  2. VTAC applications open 1 August 2022.

Eligibility

  • You must meet the entry requirements for the TAFE qualification for the initial offer.
  • You will then need to meet the requirements to continue on to the bachelor program which in most cases is simply to complete the TAFE diploma, but some programs do have additional requirements which are specified in the VTAC entries (and below).
  • You will also be eligible for credit towards the bachelor degree, details are also provided below.

Aboriginal Education Centre

The Aboriginal Education Centre (AEC) has a strong and vibrant cultural presence at Federation University with five offices based across the following campuses - Mt Helen, SMB, Wimmera, Berwick and Gippsland and is the central location for all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander matters at Federation University.

We assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and can also refer students to services and support at Federation University and other community organisations.

Our computer labs are open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and community members.

We welcome all students, staff and community members to contact us and contribute to life of the Centre.
