Federation excels in Student Experience Survey

Federation University Australia students enjoy the best support and have the best skills development of any Victorian university, according to the latest national Student Experience Survey.

With a top ranking of 80.4 per cent for student support and 85.3 per cent for skills development, Federation University has been recognised by undergraduate students as the best university in the state. 

The Student Experience Survey by Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) provides a national framework to collect data from undergraduate higher education students about their experiences at university.

Federation University is also ranked second in Victoria for teaching quality (83.2 per cent) and learning resources (88.3 per cent).

The University is ranked third in the Victoria for overall quality of educational experience for undergraduate students with a satisfaction ranking of 79.6 per cent, beating some of the largest universities in the state.

These results place Federation well above the national average for these rankings.
