Federation University Australia has been named the highest-ranking University in Victoria – and second in Australia - for full-time postgraduate employment, while also scoring highly for undergraduate employment outcomes.

The 2023 Quality Indicators for Learning and Teaching (QILT) Graduate Outcomes Survey revealed that 95.3% of Federation University postgraduate students are in full-time employment (an increase from 90.2% in 2022) with a median salary of $94,500.

Federation was also ranked second in Victoria for full-time undergraduate employment, with 80.8% of undergraduates in full-time employment, with a median salary of $71,400.

The QILT are a suite of government-endorsed surveys for higher education, spanning the student lifecycle from commencement to employment, with the Graduate Outcome Survey completed by graduates approximately four months after the completion of their studies.
