About Dr Robert Chong AM

Robert Chong AM imageDr Robert Chong AM is a former student of the School of Mines Ballarat (SMB).  He worked in the Department of Air, then Royal Australian Air Force as Second-Officer-In-Charge, Aeronautical Engineering Support Facility.

He served as a Councillor for the City of Whitehorse, including two terms as the Mayor; as a Board Member of Eastern Health; Founding Chair of the Eastern Health Foundation; and Founding Chair for a number of community organisations.

Dr Chong is a Distinguished Alumnus of Federation University, who is now actively retired.
