Biopsychological and eHealth Research and Innovation Hub

The ultimate goal of the Biopsychosocial and eHealth Research and Innovation (BeRI) Hub is to conduct research to decrease ill health and increase well-being by developing, evaluating, and disseminating cutting edge health care technologies that are engaging, tailored, sustainable, and scalable.

Our broad objectives

  • The development of innovative, technology-based, biopsychosocial health care interventions through various platforms and applications that improve ill health and increase well-being.
  • Health care and digital health intervention research (mental, physical and disabilities), spanning the health care activity spectrum (health promotion, education, prevention, early intervention, treatment and chronic disease, rehabilitation and crisis management) to improve ill health and increase well-being.
  • Investigating the causal and disease maintenance mechanisms (biological, physiological, neural, psychological, social, and environmental factors) associated with and contributing to ill health and well-being.
