4th Living with Bushfire Conference 2017

On behalf of the organising committee I am pleased to advise that registrations for the Living with Bushfire Conference 2017 to be held at Federation University Australia, Mount Helen Campus, Ballarat on Friday 6^th and Saturday 7^th October are now open via Eventbrite. - Be quick! Registrations are closing soon.

Victorians will have the opportunity to hear from leading industry experts including fire ecologists and community emergency groups to gain valuable and provide practical knowledge on bushfire risk.

Federation University is delighted to be hosting the fourth Living with Bushfire Community Conference on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 October 2017, at the Mt Helen Campus, Ballarat.

The conference is a joint initiative of Local Governments, CFA, DELWP. Federation University, Parks Victoria and other emergency management organisations.

The Living with Bushfire Community Conference brings together emergency management organisations, community groups, decision makers, industry, researchers, and community members to share knowledge and contribute to community resilience in the Grampians region and across Victoria.

Previously the conferences have been held in the Gippsland area and FedUni are excited to be part of the organising committee to bring this very relevant conference to our communities.
