Indigenous students are also assisted by the Indigenous Completions Initiative, under which they pay only the minimum tuition fee for enrolment in government-funded training at all levels, including diploma and above.

Pensioner education supplement
If you receive a Parenting Payment Single or the Disability Support Pension you may also be eligible for extra assistance while you are studying.

Eligibility for government-subsidised training
The Victorian Training Guarantee is making vocational education and training more accessible to people who do not hold a post-school qualification, or who want to gain a higher-level qualification than they already hold. There are now an unlimited number of government-subsidised training places available to people who meet the eligibility criteria.
