Mr Paul Oppenheimer

Priding himself on being a values-led change leader, Paul Oppenheimer has extensive experience leading digital and operational transformation within the finance and education sectors in Australia and across Asia.

As Chief Operating Officer at Federation University Australia, the COO portfolio brings together cross-functional teams in the delivery of student-centric solutions, customer and business outcomes, and in driving the implementation of Federation University’s vision and strategies around Digital Architecture, Campus Vision and People.

As COO, Paul leads Federation’s Information Technology Services, People and Culture, Legal, Program Management Office, Property and Infrastructure, Tech Park and Commercial Services.

Paul comes to Federation University from recent roles including Executive Director Operations for RMIT in Vietnam and as Chief Information Officer for RMIT in Melbourne.

Paul’s expertise as a digital and technology change leader will be central in supporting our significant transformation and setting up our future success delivering the Federation University Co-operative Model.
