Ballarat accommodation

Residences are located across Ballarat and offer a mix of accommodation options. All options offer comfortable, single fully furnished, study-bedrooms, with access to fully equipped kitchens, lounge and laundry facilities.

Ballarat residents are members of the Mt Helen on-campus Health, Sports and Aquatic Centre, with access to the fully equipped gym and heated indoor pool.

Bella Guerin Hall living and dining

Our Mt Helen Bella Guerin residence accommodation is located on-campus in a pleasant native bushland setting, only a short walk to classes, lecture theatres, and other campus facilities.

The units are two-storey buildings each housing 10-11 students with shared kitchen, living and dining space and two bathrooms. Free laundry facilities are also available to all residents.

A central quadrangle with an undercover barbecue area is often widely used for recreation and unit functions.

Camp Street

Camp Street residences are located in the heart of Ballarat, providing a dynamic and vibrant environment for visual and performing arts students studying at the Camp Street Campus.

Fedliving accommodation includes 4 bedroom apartments with shared kitchen and lounge spaces and ensuite studio rooms with kitchenettes. Residences are located above the University’s theatres, studios and galleries.

Throughout the residences, balcony access provides some breathtaking views over Ballarat. Residents also have access to a large communal kitchen and student common space, laundry and undercover parking.

Camp Street South studio apartments include rooms 1-12 and the common space on level 4 and 13-24 on level 5.

Victoria Street Residence is centrally located, ideal for students studying at the SMB and Camp Street campuses

Victoria Street offers large single rooms with ensuites. There is also a large fully equipped self-catering kitchen and communal area for students.
