FIDGE, Edward Leonard (1897-1933)

Born at Hopetown, Victoria Edward Fidch was educated at the Ballarat School of Mines (SMB), becoming an Associate in 1921. Fidch completed a Bachelor of Science at Melbourne University in 1925. He worked as a science teacher between 1923 and 1927, then taking a position as Chemist at the Munitions Supply Laboratories, Maribyrnong between 1927-1930. His final position was as lecturer in Chemistry at the Melbourne Working Men's College from 1930-1933.
Died on 31 May 1933 at Melbourne.
