LQ & EQ

As a condition of registration with Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) and as part of the VET funding contract with the Higher Education Skills Group, the University must report against two quality indicators: Learner Engagement, Employer Satisfaction.

Federation University Australia collects and reports against the three indicators by the following methods:

• Learner engagement - the method used to collect and evaluate this data is by a student survey called the Learner Questionnaire (LQ)
• Employer satisfaction - The method used to collect and evaluate this indicator is a survey of employers using the Employer Questionnaire (EQ)
• With the introduction of national VET reporting, RTOs are no longer required to report competency completions via COCOS.

Conducting questionnaires

The Student Engagement and Evaluations Survey team is responsible for the co-ordination, distribution and collection of both the LQ and EQ.

LQ & EQ is collected via our online survey tool. The LQ survey will automatically be sent to students towards in 2nd and 4th term each year. The EQ survey is delivered towards the end of 4th Term.

Prizes

From time to time, prizes will offered to students who participate in the LQ. The terms and conditions of the prize draws are available here.

All  feedback submitted through completion of this survey is collected in accordance with the University’s Information Privacy Policy and is regarded as confidential. All data collected is de-identified before being compiled into any report prepared for consideration and decision-making within the University.  Information which has been de-identified cannot be retrieved or modified.
