Federation University Australia’s Clemente program in Gippsland will hold a celebration for its students on Tuesday, 29 November.
To be held at the Waratah Training Restaurant at Federation Training, Gippsland from 4.30 to 6.00 pm, the event will acknowledge the support provided to Clemente students by learning partners and community organisations.
“Our Clemente Program provides life-changing educational opportunities for those experiencing social exclusion,” Dr Jeremy Smith, Chair of the Clemente Ballarat Steering Committee, said.
“The four courses involved in the program are Introduction to Social Inquiry, Globalisation and Inequality, Social Issues and Personal Values, and Creative Writing.”
Lea Liddy is the first Gippsland student to complete the program. She will be at the celebration.
