Investigation into the parameters of manufacture scale-up and characterization of humic products produced from the natural weathering of lignites versus tailored humic acid oxidation

Federation University is pleased to partner with Omnia Specialities Australia and Australian Carbon Innovation (ACI) to offer a PhD scholarship in analytical chemistry and chemical engineering.

This scholarship is a well-funded opportunity for someone who wants to blend analytical chemistry with chemical engineering and agriculture.

Scholarship details

Project title: Investigation into the parameters of manufacture scale-up and characterization of humic products produced from the natural weathering of lignites versus tailored humic acid oxidation

Stipend: $33,000 per annum

Project support costs: $38,000

RTP Fee-offset Scholarship: $26,400 per annum

Funding length: 3 years (plus 1 x 6 month extension upon request if required)

Location: Gippsland Campus, Churchill, Victoria

Application closing date: 10 July 2022

Commencement date: Mid July 2022
