FBS Student Awards
The Awards for Excellence recognises and rewards exceptional performance by a student during the previous year for outstanding academic performance and/or behaviours that align with the School’s values and principles.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to receive an award, the nominated student must have been enrolled in a Federation Business School program during the 2018 academic year, at any FedUni campus, or via online delivery.
Criteria
Academic performance
Students who receive an award based upon academic performance will be determined by the school, and are not required to submit a nomination form.
School values and principles
You can nominate a student based upon the values and principles that the Federation Business School envisions for itself and its students. You may nominate a student based on one or multiple category, which are:
- Respect
Recognises the inherent dignity and worth of every person in our community. - Ethical behaviour
Demonstrates the value of ethical behaviour and goes beyond upholding professional standards and incorporates our commitment to the environment. - Integrity
Holds themselves personally to the highest ethical standards and sees integrity as an essential value for personal success. - Diversity
Appreciates and values the differences inherent in our community. Differences should not separate us but rather bring us collective strength that can benefit all. - Courage
This student is prepared to step into the unknown. - Resilience
In a world of constant change this student values the ability to meet and overcome challenges. - Responsible management
Demonstrates a commitment to social, environmental and economic responsibility.

Nominations for the 2019 Student Awards are now open.
Presentation of awards
The awards will be presented to the appropriate students at the student awards nights, one held in Ballarat and one held in Gippsland.
Information regarding the dates for the nights will be posted once the venues have been confirmed.
