Research interests
Broad research interests include research into the relationships between technology and the law inclusive of identity theft, cyber-crime and blockchain. Other research interests include the teaching of law.
Biography
Eric's passion for teaching can be traced back through his lengthy experience in tertiary education. Eric remains focused on enhancing the student educational experience and has a focus on student centred learning. Eric has been a lecturer in law who has been appointed by the former University of Ballarat and now Federation University Australia since 2009. This appointment followed previous appointments at the James Cook University Law School and at Central Queensland University. As a part of Eric’s engagement within the University, he has occupied various administrative roles inclusive of the Chair of University Appeals, Learning and Teaching Coordinator and Discipline Leader.
