A brief description of the project:

In this study, drone photogrammetry will be used to develop the 3D mapping of slope geometry which will be used for rockfall analysis in an accurate way. Accuracy of the model will be evaluated by experiments of rock trajectories in laboratory and field. In addition, drone photogrammetry will be utilised to analyse slope stability while developing the geological pattern distribution model around the slope. Based on the result, method will be proposed to select suitable mitigation methods of rockfall and slope instability. As a result of the study, it is expected to develop a program for rockfall detection and warning system.
