FedUni's Jamie McDonald makes list of top 50 national marketers

Posted: Friday 21 October 2016

Federation University Australia’s Jamie McDonald has been named one of the nation’s most innovative marketers in this year’s CMO50 awards.

Chief Marketing Officers from across all sectors, including retail, hospitality, banking, arts and entertainment, were included in this year's top 50. FedUni was the only regional university listed and one of very few regional organisations honoured at the Sydney event.

“I commend Jamie on being listed in Australia’s top 50 marketers, and for his exemplary leadership of the Marketing, Advancement and Community Engagement team,” Professor Todd Walker, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Engagement), said.

“Our recent Federation Generation campaign has been an outstanding success and is testament to our new direction in building communities.

“This multi-media campaign has resulted in increased enrolments at our campuses throughout regional Victoria.”

Now in its second year, the CMO50 is an annual list celebrating Australia’s 50 most innovative marketers.

The list highlights core pillars of modern marketing such as business change and growth, improving customer engagement and technology-led strategic thinking and creativity.
