Biography

Nick is a vegetation ecologist with broad interests in human-modified landscapes and ecological restoration. For his PhD at the University of New England, he investigated how the native pastures and grassy woodlands of the North-West Slopes of New South Wales contribute to regional plant diversity. Nick has been involved in research projects and consultancies in a wide range of temperate, semi-arid and sub-tropical vegetation in south east Australia. He lectures in Australian Flora and range of courses in the B. Environmental and Conservation Science program.
