Research interests

Benjamin’s primary research interests centre around how molecules interact with our world; whether that be mapping and measuring the effects of pharmaceuticals (and other emerging contaminants) in the environment or elucidating the self-assembled structure of hydrogels (for cell growth and medical implants).

Short biography

Benjamin obtained his PhD from Deakin University in 2014 before undertaking Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellowships at the University of Sydney. In 2016 he returned to Deakin University as a lecturer and research fellow before taking up a lectureship at Federation University in 2017
