Biography

Steve has lived and worked in many of the regional and metropolitan areas of Victoria including Bendigo, Ballarat, Brighton, and Berwick. With small business values established as the son of a dairy farmer, Steve was the first in his family to complete University qualifications.
Having started his career with one of the big four accounting firms, Steve has extensive experience within accounting, audit, and finance. He has worked as an Audit Inspector conducting audits across the Victorian Public Sector and discovered his first fraud when still in his early twenties. Steve has worked as the Operational Auditor for Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and as a finance manager in local government. Steve also spent some time working overseas with the Cook Island Government, and in recent years established his own tax and SMSF audit practice.
