Short biography

Dr. Azadeh Noori Hoshyar joined as a lecturer to Federation university in April 2020. Prior to joining Federation university, Dr. Noori held a postdoctoral research fellow at Bond university since 2019. Before joining Bond university, she has been a research assistance at Western Sydney University (WSU). She has also worked in an industry for about four years as a Software engineer. Dr. Noori received her PhD from WSU in 2019, and her second Master’s degree is from University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) in Engineering. She obtained her first Master’s degree in Information Technology (Computer Science) from National University of Malaysia (UKM). Her research interest includes image processing, signal processing, machine learning and software development (Agile). More recently she has focused on AI-based preventive methods for structural failure. Dr. Noori has been involved in several projects in Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) and Biomedical Engineering (Automatic Cancer Detection).
