New Tertiary Music Agreement
Posted: Friday 17 July 2020The updated Tertiary Music Agreement has just been released and it offers new and extended rights for the University to perform and communicate others' music across University spaces, at events and graduations, and also on official social media and University websites (with conditions). Rights to use music in a course of instruction is unaltered.
Attached is a Federation Copyright Office update which gives an overview of the changes. There are some caveats and limitations to these rights. If you have any queries please ask and we can seek to clarify. FAQs and advice are in development.
