Facilitating Student Success Project - participation invitation

Posted: Thursday 8 March 2018

Dear Federation University Staff,

Federation University is one of five RUN universities conducting a nation-wide research project exploring how Australian universities and public libraries can work together to facilitate regional student success.

If your role includes supporting regional and low-SES students' study and learning needs we would like to invite you to participate in a one-on-one interview. In the interview you will be invited to share your experiences of the study and learning needs of the low-SES and rural university students you support; any opportunities you see for collaborations with regional public libraries; as well as any issues or challenges you’ve faced.

To acknowledge your time we are offering a $30 prepaid EFTPOS card to be provided to you after completion of the interview. This card acts as a gift voucher and can be redeemed anywhere that accepts EFTPOS.

If you would like to participate in the interview, please contact the project research assistant Jenny Ostini on Jenny.Ostini@usq.edu.au to arrange a date and time that suits you. The interview will be conducted via your preferred method: either telephone, Skype, or Zoom.

For more information, please see the Participant Information Sheet attached to this email, or our website: http://workingtogether.org.au/ Thank you for your consideration of our study.

Please note that this study has been approved by the following Human Research Ethics Committees:
