Thought leaders from across the state with be sharing their insight into various challenges and opportunities in the South East Melbourne region during a new series of events hosted by Federation University Australia at its Berwick Campus.

These free, public events bring together community, government, industry and education to generate creative thinking and inspire change in the region.

The inaugural Innovation Series event to be held at Federation’s Berwick Campus will be ‘Towards Net Zero’ and will inform attendees on what to expect as the world moves towards a net-zero economy and how this could affect local businesses and organisations.

The keynote presenter for the inaugural Berwick event will be Professor Iven Mareels, Executive Dean of Federation’s Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability, while the panel will consist of Mr Tony Morton, Senior Principal Engineer, Global Technical Head Power Systems, Vysus Group; Mr Puneet Gupta, Hydrogen and Decarbonisation Solutions Lead, Siemens Energy; and Professor Bhavna Antony, Information Technology, Institute of Innovation, Science and Sustainability at Federation University.

The ‘Toward Net Zero’ Innovation Series event will take place from 5.00pm – 7.00pm on Thursday, February 22 at Federation’s Berwick Campus, 100 Clyde Road, Sir Nossal Boulevard, Berwick.
