Biography

Candice Bowers is a registered Clinical Psychologist and Board Approved Supervisor. She runs her own small private practice in Bendigo in addition to her role at Federation University.

Candice has worked in private practice since graduating in 2017. She began working for Federation University in 2023. Candice has experience working across the lifespan, with children, adolescents and adults. She works from a non-pathologising approach with a focus on self-acceptance, compassion and growth. Whilst her training was primarily in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Schema Therapy, Candice now enjoys working from an eclectic approach, drawing on multiple different theories and techniques, as appropriate to each person she works with.

Candice has a passion for developing her understanding of neurodivergent clients and supporting them through assessment, diagnosis and therapy. She also has particular interest and experience working with clients who have experienced trauma and symptoms of psychosis.
