Health and Clinical Exercise Centre
The Health and Clinical Exercise Centre (Mt Helen) is run by accredited exercise physiologists and students as a part of the Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology program. The clinic is open to the public.
The clinic provides a service for individuals who have an injury, suffer from a medical condition, or who are just unfit or nervous about commencing exercise.
The Health and Clinical Exercise Centre offers both supervised land based exercise and hydrotherapy sessions.
The Health and Clinical Exercise Centre is open during the semester period:
- Monday, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
- Tuesday, 1.30pm – 4.30pm
- Thursday, 8.30am – 11.30am
Individual assessment and supervision of clinical exercise programs are offered on land or in the pool.
Initial assessment: $25
Follow-up sessions: $10
Card payments only, no cash is accepted at the Health and Clinical Exercise Centre.
Able and Stable Program
This program aims to provide a strengthening and balance program for older adults in a social and fun environment. Sessions run for 50 minutes on Tuesday afternoons at 1.30pm and Thursday mornings at 10.30am. All participants need a screening assessment before they can attend the group session.
Cost: $5.50 per week
