How to apply
- Complete the Early Offer (Advance to University Pathway) application following these instructions:
- Select the program you are interested in from the drop-down list
- Check that you will meet the pre-requisites and any additional essential entry requirements.
- When providing your email address please use the same email address that you intend to use in your VTAC application.
- List the relevant Federation University program in your VTAC preference list.
Eligibility
To be eligible for an early offer you must:
- Be a current domestic Australian year 12 student completing the Advance to University Program (ATU) at Federation University and complete VCE
- Meet the pre-requisites for the program, including any additional essential requirements for admission
- Pass the unit pairs in which you are enrolled in ATU
- Apply by the December deadline
. - Apply via VTAC and list the Federation University degree in your preference list*

What happens next?
- If your application is successful, you will receive a conditional offer.
- As an Early Offer Program recipient, you'll have exclusive access to content, services and events welcoming you to campus and preparing you for higher education.
- If you meet the conditions of the Early Offer Program you will be issued a formal offer by VTAC in the December 2023 offer round.
- If you don't meet the conditions of an early offer, you may still be eligible for an offer for the course. Applicants who have experienced educational disadvantages are encouraged to apply for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS). Depending on eligibility and your circumstances, a SEAS application may provide support for your course application.
*Applicants must apply via VTAC and remain bound by the preference system. A number of courses at different institutions may make you an offer, but the offer received will be for your highest preference where you have met all selection criteria. All applicants are given the opportunity to change their preferences on various dates. For information on these dates, visit the VTAC website.
