When you submit your application, you will have the opportunity to enter a number of 'preferences' for your accommodation options. You will be offered your highest preference that has suitable availability.

It is recommended to use an email address that you will check regularly and continue to have access to following your application, to ensure you receive important communications and updates.

Make sure you complete all steps within the application, and follow the process to the end, including payment of the application fee. As soon as we process your application, we will send you your offer via email.

Weekly costs will vary depending on your chosen accommodation option. A full breakdown of costs and options is available here.

With the rising cost of living, you can have some peace of mind knowing that living on campus not only provides the best possible start to your university experience, fantastic opportunities, invaluable memories, and lifelong friends, it also represents great value. All bills are included in the set weekly rental rate- including utilities and internet, so there are no hidden or unexpected costs. Find out more.

Offer Acceptance

Your accommodation offer email will include details on accepting your place, and by what date you will need to accept the offer.

You will need to accept your offer online through the Fedliving Portal using the username and password from your application, including payment of the acceptance fee. Make sure you accept your offer by the date outlined in your offer email to confirm your place.

If circumstances have changed (which happens!), and you no longer require your accommodation place with us, please email fedliving@federation.edu.au to let us know so we can cancel your application.

We know you have a lot going on, so if you've missed the due date of accepting your offer, you will usually receive a reminder by phone or email from our Fedliving team to check in with you if you still require accommodation.

If a response is still not received, the offer may be withdrawn or cancelled, and you may need to reapply if you still require accommodation,

Unfortunately, we don't offer deferrals on accommodation. Please let us know and we can cancel your application for this year, and you will be able to reapply next year when applications open.
