Institute of Health and Wellbeing (International)

We take care so you can give care

The Institute of Health and Wellbeing (IHW) is all about nurturing the next generation of health professionals. We know you’ve already got plenty of those vital soft skills – empathy, critical thinking, active listening. The next step is exploring the specifics of your chosen field and applying that knowledge in real-world situations. You’ll get to do clinical placement – which means getting out of the classroom (and your comfort zone) and connecting with local employers.

IHW cares about your career. IHW is your institute.

Your compulsory International Orientation schedule

We want you to feel right at home here, so we're running an extra orientation day just for you. Yes, you do have to attend, but no, we won't make you eat Vegemite (unless you want to). During registration students will be allocated to a group (A or B) and given specific Orientation schedules (which will include an information session, free lunch and enrolment session). We'd love to see you at the general Mt Helen Orientation as well (see below).
