Room numbers for orientation sessions (and classes) can be a little long and confusing at first. You'll find you learn them quickly, but you can use the following rules to help you out:
- Room numbers are almost always written as two sets of numbers, usually separated by an underscore. For example, room 903_G121.
- The first set of three numbers are the building. In the example of 903_G121, the room is in building 903
- The second set of numbers are the room number.
- The first character will always be 'G' or '1'. This tells you if the room is on the ground floor (g) or the first floor (1).
- The rest of the numbers are the room number, and simply label the room.
