Jess Johnson's drawing and installation practice is inspired by the speculative intersections between language, science fiction, culture and technology. Johnson's drawings are often displayed within constructed environments that act as physical portals into her speculative worlds. Her recent experiments of translating her drawings into animated videos, has opened up hypnotic new dimensions for her audiences to fully immerse themselves in her worlds.
