Change to authentication service for Library resources - OpenAthens
Posted: Tuesday 13 July 2021ITS and the Library have been working together on implementing a new authentication service that enables Federation University Australia staff and students seamless and secure access to Library electronic resources anytime and anywhere through OpenAthens.
There will be no change to the number of resources the Library subscribes to as part of the transition to OpenAthens and your current University username and password will continue to authenticate you via the new service. The current authentication system (Ezproxy) will run in parallel with OpenAthens until the end of 2021.
The new authentication service will roll out from Tuesday, 20 July and you can continue to access content via the Library Catalogue, QuickSearch, A-Z databases and directly from publisher pages.
