Research Data Management (RDM)

Posted: Wednesday 22 January 2025

Effective research data management (RDM) is crucial for ensuring data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with funding and institutional requirements. It also facilitates data sharing and long-term preservation, which are essential for advancing scientific knowledge.  The Research Services team have been working with staff from the Library and ITS to develop a Research Data Management Planning Tool to make research data management planning easier and more efficient. The tool will also provide Library and Research Services staff with expertise in this area insight into RDMP practice at Federation University, enabling us to better offer guidance on data management practice where appropriate.

You can access the Research Data Management Planning tool here.

Please see the Library training schedule for details of upcoming RDMP sessions, here, or contact the team at rdm@federation.edu.au  with any queries.
