Reminder: Important changes required for linking to library resources 

ITS and the Library have implemented changes to the authentication for electronic resources. Currently EZproxy and OpenAthens authentication are working in parallel but from the 30^th November 2022 EZproxy authentication will cease linking to online resources.  

Check your bookmark links. If you have saved your favourite databases eg Scopus, MIMS, Ebsco, Sage, DramaOnline in your bookmarks these will need to be updated if they are going to urls containing ezproxy as these will not work after 30^th November, 2022.

The Libguides A to Z list provides urls for individual databases in OpenAthens format.

Any links containing EZproxy in the url (via Moodle, EndNote, bookmarks etc.) will require updating.

Any links that contain OpenAthens authentication will not require changes. 

How do I update EZproxy links? 

To update EZproxy you will need to generate new links which will utilise OpenAthens authentication. For further information click here
