FedQuality project enabling success in a rapidly changing world
Associate Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Professor Gabriele Suder has launched a new project, under the name FedQuality. It is supported by the Academic Quality and Accreditation team and is being rolled out with stakeholders across the university on ambitious targets and timelines.
This project aims to focus and elevate our strengths and establish coherent shared roadmaps to transform our current learning, teaching and assessment practice and accreditation standards across VET, higher education and research. It will align key sector trends, with Federation’s strategic ambitions, and as well as capabilities, in whole-of-university approach.
This project starts with mapping of current activities, recognising excellence and any needs for adjustment.
FedQuality working groups will establish plans to ensure we are using:
- Innovative learning and teaching techniques to strengthen engagement across the diversity of our students and to meet changes in industry;
- Digital technologies to enhance learner experience and engagement for lifelong learning and inclusiveness; and
- Learning and teaching strategies which are at, or above, industry standard, utilising latest digital technology.
Our contemporary learning and teaching vision focuses on prioritising active engagement, personalisation, technology integration, and the development of 21st-century skills to prepare students for success in a rapidly changing world.
The FedQuality project and working group leads will be in contact soon to ask for insights, input and feedback from you. Thank you in advance for supporting them.
